Depth of Tibet

Rare Tibetan Gau (prayer anulet). Small turquoise beads are embedded in beeswax. The back can be removed so a prayer or memento may be palced inside. This very old piece, perhaps form the 1800's can still be opened. The necklace, of which the Gau is the centerpiece, is made of antique cut carnelian, turquoise, vintage Nepalese beads and vintage silver metal.
