  • The Works of Our Hands Related in Life and Design

Amina Harris, Patti Harris, Shoshana Zeldner

    October 2-26, 2026

    Reception: October 9, 6-9 pm

The Works of Our Hands features three distinct art forms from three family members, across the county and country. “Our family has always endeavored in the arts and crafts,” explains Amina. “From our grandparents to our parents to my sisters and now our own children. It’s very exciting to bring us all together.”

  • Amina Harris

Amina has always designed and made things: clothing puppets, beaded flowers and, for the last 20 years, jewelry. As a History of Art major, she focused on the craft of each historical art period. Now she brings that to life in her one of a kind jewelry that spans centuries and materials. This particular exhibit has been influenced by a recent trip to Morocco.

  • Patti Harris

Patti is from Buffalo, NY and has widely exhibited throughout Western New York and Canada. This is her first time  exhibiting on the West coast. She  is inspired by industrial design, natural materials and vintage objects. Patti uses a variety of materials — old boxes, frames, foundry patterns and small items gathered from antique stores, estate sales and pretty much anywhere! Her three dimensional collages have visual impact since she combines items that don’t routinely go together. The result is work demanding thought and involvement on the part of the viewer.

  • Shoshana Zeldner

Shoshana’s sculpture centers around the body, our relationship to it, and the emotions that test its boundaries. Shoshana pays great attention to detail – her sculpture breathes with life. She uses her medium to explore the relationship between the body and all the invisible and subtle experiences that take place within.
