Almost Amber

This choker is created from an asortment of phenolic/resin also called Copal Amber. The beads date from the early to late 1900's and are mixed with an assortment of silver coins and charms. Phenolic resin beads are formed through the reaction of formaldehyde and phenol, similar to Bakelite or Faturan. They are often referred to as Copal Amber. The earliest of these was probably made about 1920 in Germany. Frame Included.
